The National Productivity Organisation (NPO) Ministry of Industries, Production & Special Initiatives will be organising a fund raising training programme on the 'Importance of Quality & Productivity for SMEs' in collaboration with the NED University of Engineering & Technology and The Union of Small & Medium Enterprises (Unisame) on March 12, 2005 at NED University Auditorium Karachi, says a press release here on Saturday.

The course contents include the Importance of Quality & Productivity, Success behind Global Industries, Role of Manager, Dynamic Leadership, Motivation through Effective Management Skills.

The organisers of the training programme say the participants can deposit their donations in the form of cheque or cash in the President's Relief Fund for Tsunami victims at the NED University, Unisame, or NPO.

Co-ordinator for the programme Zulfikar Thaver said SMEs could benefit from the course and the purpose of that training programme was to get acquainted with the management skills regarding human productivity and enhancement, which would help our industrialists to improve their performance, productivity and quality resulting competitive edge in the national and international market, the release added. -PR
